Baso B04S-5E010 Hot Surface Igniter Replaces Trane Kit 3033 Proper Installation Procedure: Disconnect electrical power and gas supply to appliance or furnace and remove existing igniter. Cut the two wires of the existing igniter 3-4 inches from ceramic block. Compare the old Ceramic block with the new parts in kit and select the appropriate metal bracket to best match the original igniter. Connect existing wires to the new igniter and use the two ceramic wire nuts to complete the connection. Ensure that the two wire nuts are tightly secured for proper electrical connection. Re-install the new igniter in the reverse order of removal. Testthe appliance of furnace several times for proper ignition.
